19th Challenge Trophy Camporee History
The 19th Challenge Trophy Camporee was held Oct 20 -22, 2017 at Camp Babcock-Hovey.
We had a warm sunny day with a few cloudy. The temperature peaked around 75F. The final number of attendees was 2,165 people at the 19th CTC setting a new attendance record. Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts of America and Scout’s Canada Units attended the 19th CTC.
We offered 750 Events in the 24 Event Areas.
We had 28 patch designs for the 19th CTC. We offered 8 Special Limited Border patches. The Cap Patch was made using “Glow in the Dark” thread.
The program patches were once again a very popular item to earn. We ran out of patches so we plan to buy more next year. See the Patch page for all of patch designs over the past 19 years.
